Ive got a few torch style lighters. Seem to always use the Rockwell quad torch I got with my first order. Haven’t noticed any odor or flavor from it but probably wouldn’t notice if there was
Just finished one of these while planting some beans. It was very good, the last bit did have some umph to it. I did get a bit light headed but would definitely recommend trying one of these. Camacho Ecuador
I had a DE Red Eye also, it was pretty good. I would of most likely enjoyed it more but I was fighting the mud trying to get some beans in.
Had one of these this morning, the burn was a wonkey but overall a pretty good cigar. Again probably more enjoyable when not planting in sketchy conditions trying to beat the rain.
Planting is all but done, about 30 acres left but the hay is getting taken off first. We have a brief reprieve of about a week then starting the hay, only 650 acres of that to take care of 3 times. So any way we had a supper at my folks place & I am having my desert.
Had one of these this morning with my coffee. T.Jeff Veal gifted me three at the Michigan GTG. It’s a Cigar made in Zimbabwe Africa, handrolled and crafted over there. I put in the humidor to rest about a month. I was rather impressed with the burn, flavor, and length of holding on the ash. Definitely something I’ve never came across before. Thanks T.Jeff Veal …. I’ll let the others set for a bit longer and let you know what they are like.

My cousin has been in several countries...He lived in Romania, Vietnam, Zimbabwe... He has grand ideas...... He said they had gotten import license for Europe. Haven't asked him about USA yet.
JimBear Have you broke out any of those country man maduros yet? I had another one of the natural wrapped conutry man while riding the mower and even after being in a storage shed for over a week, it was still good! I had left it on the rider last week Sunday and figured it would be crap, but nope. For being machine made, they are impressive.
Yes, I have had one. I was pleasantly surprised. I have a box of Robustos & Toros so they should last awhile & hopefully they age well. I am taking a few up to my son next time I see him. I sent 3 of them to the east coast a week or so ago to Hall84. Hopefully he will give one a try & give us a report also.
I took about 4 dozen cigars along for a ride and never had one last week. But, I did leave a box of 30 with someone.
I was going to have one of these 3 tonight but after some thought, the Clevelander somehow got turned down to 58*;I figured I better give them a couple days to regulate their temps a bit. So the Partagas got the nod, they were in a humidor at about 68*.
So after reading thru this thread a bit last night, what type of cigar are those La Traviatas that you fellas were raving about ? Animundo, Divino, Favorito, Interpido, Luminoso, Radiante ??? And the Arturo Fuente Short Story’s did those have Maduro wrappers or Connecticut wrappers ?
The la traviatas were maduro. Chvymn99 had posted them a couple of times and I never did anything about them.....until they announced that cao was discontinuing them. Then, I scrambled to buy 2 boxes. The short storys that I enjoy are not the maduro. Had an oliva G today (non maduro) and enjoyed it to the 1/2 way mark.

Well, yes......you are missing it in a way. They are not available anywhere. I searched high and low for what I supposed was the last box for sale and grabbed it a couple months ago. Paid close to $170 for them too!
