Had an old customer that had used a higher end model Ferris like yours for over 10 years, and when I asked about maintenance on the suspension he said it’s been flawless. In fact, he said he believes the suspension saves other components from west since it takes the bounce out. I’d own one at work if my local dealer carried them. Demoed them twice and loved em both times. First time they lost by $$ but second was out of town and school board directed me to stay local which is one dealer option. enjoy that new toy!
I think he is planning his first tire marking! Either that, or "I can't believe he fit this beast on this lil tiny trailer!" X2!
The way I look at it, there are 2 choices: 1) Cheap (big box, etc) Smaller up front investment, but may likely need more $ down the line for repairs/replacement. 2) Commercial class mower, "Buy once, cry once." Option #1 is often the least expensive choice for typical home-owner. Big box, etc. usually have no question warranty. Option #2 is great if you have an honest, small business owner and you want to support that kind of thing. No right or wrong answer.
Pretty nice. The neighbor i mow for came out and said she saw how fast it is. Lol Definitely will cut 1.5 hours off my time at her place.
This would be perfect for summer mowing at work where we try and control the ground squirrel population. Looks to be more fun than my single shot pellet gun
I have the ISX800 52” deck with 15 hours on it so far. I love it. Yesterday… I was practicing my driving with my left hand on the left lever and thumb on right lever maneuver so I can operate my beer can with the other hand and gave my wife’s flower patch an unexpected haircut when my thumb slipped. She hasn’t noticed it yet.
