This morning before shutting down for a power outage, my computer was running slow. Now that we have power, it is almost as if I was back on dial up internet. Thanks for the idea on checking for updates. The last update, I had to un-install.

Dave, this has saved a couple of my computers over the years, it's free. When we did office supplies all those years the Corp Franchise recommended Trend Micro for our own computers, so you know it's a reputable company. We had the full subscription but this below is awesome.

DDG just made a deal with the Feds for data tracking. I keep seeing Brave recommended.

Did a roof 8 years ago, a Freddy's moved into one side. A few years later another restaurant moved into the other side, called for repairs required after adding all the HVAC units on the roof. Scheduled day came (per General Contractor) went to do roof but the building owner already had someone else done it for less $$ ?!? Woops, they just voided their warranty for the orig roof.

Flash forward to 5 am this morning. Email from an Atty rudely demanding we go fix leaks today (heavy rain yesterday afternoon, unusual here). Umm, it's not our work nor warranty, and you stiffed us last time (thankfully pretty common material so was used on another job). He emailed back, apologized and politely asked if we would come fix the leaks. First 1/2 our company is out of town and the others have plans, second the other place that did it needs to come back and do right by you. Let's hope that place is still in business

My neighbor husband is active duty, just got home from deployment, she mentioned her mower is broke waiting on a pulley. I mowed up by road and their lawn hadn’t been mowed yet.. has been now.

A fiberglass bench actually, looks like it came out of a restaurant. The padding on the back came off from being left outside. Had a double sided one, but cut it up and disposed of it.

    Jesus bridged the gap
    by Pastor Mike Novotny

Have you ever heard of the Mackinac Bridge? It’s an architectural marvel that connects the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. Opened in 1957, the bridge spans five miles. The more than 11,000 workers used more than 1,000,000 bolts, nearly 1,000,000 tons of concrete, and 42,000 miles of cable wire to build the massive structure. It makes you wonder—Why would people give so much time, energy, and money just to build a bridge?

Answer—Because sometimes connecting here to there is worth it.

Just ask Jesus. Jesus knew that sin pushed us apart from God. An eternal chasm separated his holy presence from our not-so-holy lives. That’s why Jesus became our bridge. Paul wrote, “The Lord Jesus Christ . . . gave himself for our sins to rescue us” (Galatians 1:3,4). Jesus didn’t give a few years of time or a few million bolts to bridge that gap. He gave himself. His very blood. His sacred life.

The result? You are rescued! Rescued from the land of darkness, from the land of shame, from the land of not being good enough for God. You no longer have to live in the land of worry or anxiety or fear that something will keep your Father far away, because Jesus gets you to God—to peace, to rest, to mercy, to love.

Building a bridge is no small task. But Jesus was willing to do the work so that your connection to God could start now and last forever

Some people are so set on saving a penny they forget the dollar and make enemies rather than friends. When you do this to business, that story tends to spread via moccasin telegraph and one can get bitten where it hurts in the future.
