Got about 6 sheets of Gyprock up today. Lost the pic, but some of the other wall is done further down too. Once the window is replaced I can close it in.

Wish the screws would get with the times, they're still Phillips.

And some maple planks milled. I'll use these for my bathroom sink countertop.

Had a family work day at mom n dads place yesterday...between all of us, we got the whole place weedeated, mowed, and 10 yards of mulch down, all in 7 hours! It was just about the perfect weather...low seventies and mostly sunny. Little sore today...

My wife and I have that duty at her moms. Her dad passed in 2015 of cancer and it’s been us taking care of her. Her oldest brother lives in Florida because of his job but last few years has been able to come here for the summer and helps a little “when he can”. Sister is more worried about herself and absolutely useless unless it’s to her benefit. Has another brother who never left home. Let’s just say he is what’s called a professional moocher and wouldn’t lift a finger to benefit himself. It gets tiring when it’s 90 miles each way.

This is funny, I almost got in a fight outside of Home Depot Rental at 7:30 am yesterday! 10 years ago I would have been in jail or the hospital...Depending on who won the fight lol!

Yeah. 82 years old and filled her oil tank in early March for a 1000. Said she wanted to go back to burning wood to heat the house. On one hand that’s good she’s not spending our inheritance but I have 8 cord to cut and split and get n the shed once we get 8 cord out of it and into the basement in October.

I think my computer is about to take a crap. Very slow responding and loading pages.

6 years old. Should last longer than that, no?

That could be part of it. Malware won't update any longer.....keep getting an error message.

Anyone know a good laptop repairman? I could leave it with the shop for awhile .......

Cut up some more logs today.

Humidity level was real high and had to stop cutting after two chain saw gas tanks as it was kicking my behind! I hope to complete the cutting tomorrow. Just have to start earlier that today.

Then, the splitter rolls out. I have been cutting each log into 5 pieces and am thinking there will be some that are too long.

Not looking forward to the "re-cut" pile. :picard: I never had one of those log marking tooley thingies. May regret that.

Make a measuring stick of some sort...or just use the saw bar...or make some sort of mark on the chain cover if the bar itself is too short.

Did all that. Just too much of an inconvenience to keep changing positions with the saw....carpal tunnel is flaring up enough as it is. (wah, wah, wah)
