I was at TSC a couple days ago. Countryside bar oil $12/gal.

Husky bar oil at a local OPE shop - $20/gal.

I don't need any. So, it all stayed on the shelves.

That's the pricing at my local shop too but it used to be $16.99 for Husky as of a year or so ago IIRC.

Echo at Home Depot still shows the same price since I bought it a couple months ago.

I’m not sure what the price of gas is. All the stations ran out. The futures so bright they even ran out of sunglasses.

I'd like you comment but there is nothing likeable abut that at all. I read there are shortages out your way. Makes no sense to me as we are awash with petroleum in the country

Really? I am in a self imposed news blackout. Just couldn’t take it anymore, needed a break. I research things myself if I need to know. Truth be told fuel consumption nationwide is on the front burner of next research projects ;). Thanks for the info.

Just FYI daily fuel consumption usually increases 1.5 million gallons a day between memorial and labor Days

Had the wife get me a gallon of bar oil Saturday when she went to North Platte, told her not to pay more than $12-13. She got one at tractor supply for that. I was in North Platte today at Bomgarrs $8.99 I grabbed 2. I think this puts me at 12 gallons on hand. Which will last probably 2 years or so. But I’ll keep checking and grabbing when the price is good and I have the cash on me

My tractor supply was $12 a gallon a few weeks ago and is now $15 a gallon. I will need about 10 gallons or so to get me through the summer.

Amy and I aren't contributing to that at all. We still practice conservative use of motor vehicles, just we always have. I am using more diesel, but it's all off road and all for the tractors. Sure love my large frame Kubota tractors. Very stingy on fuel usage.
