Stopped by after work this evening, picked up the pile of wood from the big limb above. It's not a The Wood Wolverine worthy load, but the older lady (our DIL grandma) we gave it to, will really appreciate it.
Well, we haven't gotten much done in Dixie this week, been in Covid lockdown. Got to feeling better by Thursday, so did a little maintenance to the 'Bota. Took me about all day, but it got done. Yesterday was even a better day. We had been saving our empty oil jugs. So we blended the oil from the totes with bar oil from new jugs. Got 13 gallons blended Today, got the splitter moved and some logs staged, be ready when I'm strong enough to run the saw.
I had it again for the past couple weeks. Feels good to finally get to the other side. Glad you’re still walking and back at it.
Sorry to hear that bug got'cha again. Felt like the flu for a couple days. Hope I can run the saw a little next week... Take care of yourself, brother...
Jeff, sorry to hear your not a 100% just yet, keep looking UP, you know what i mean, sure you do. I'll do the same for ya.
Boy Jeff, if I was closer and could help ya on cutting up that wood, I sure wood! But, being on the other side of the country, can’t do it. Is the wife sick as well? And, I’m sure there are lots of others here that would help ya out as well. Looks like a really nice week here in the PNW, hang in there.
Yes sir, Miz Carol is sick too. We are both getting better. I go back to work in the morning. She can rest some more. Our daughter and her husband caught it, as well as my neighbor Mike, he rode with me Monday to the next town, about 25 miles away, to drop off a saw at the shop.
Thanks, I've been resting this week, just doing small things while it was cool, then enjoying the later
Felt good after work Tuesday night. Made it to the woodyard about 8PM. Got about 2 logs bucked Then a spring thunderboomer came in 30 minutes later... Maybe we can make some more progress tonight
