    Where you went through, even I-75 was closed after the storm. It appears that is about where the storm passes but on the west side it got tore up pretty bad.

    Morning all. Morning overcast and damp. It should burn off and sunshine appear. It did yesterday and it almost got to 60 F. Kids are camping on the beach this weekend.
    Today my Mom turns 97. The changes she has seen in her lifetime. Tomorrow we have a birthday party for her.

    When Jesus was teaching the people, he talked about the Sabbath. The religious leaders of that time had loaded down the Sabbath with so many Don't Dos that it had become a burden. He taught that doing good and serving others would be a joy. Take time to be with God, meet with fellow believers to worship God, enjoy the day of rest, spend time in nature and enjoy your family. Step away from the cares of the world for a day.

    97 says she has no doubt had a good life. Congratulations to her. For sure it can be mind boggling thinking about all the changes over that time span. I remember once trying to come up with a list just over my lifetime. I was surprised at the number of changes good and bad and my list was far from complete.

    One of those changes was in saws. Wow! Thinking just of chain saws, some of the big changes have been chain brakes and automatic oilers, weight, etc. In mills, not so many circular sawing done now as most use band saws and rightly so. Think also of the equipment used for felling, skidding and trucking. One could go on and on.

    Good morning everyone! Yesterday was not as hot as forecast, only got into the 80's. 90's today, maybe, with thunderstorms in the evening. That would be nice.
    Today, my brother and wife, my son, and my grandson are coming over to swim. I made potato salad, devilled eggs, and other cold stuff for lunch. Nuts to the diet for a day, but the leftovers will go home with my guests. IMG_20220521_46917.jpg
    I'm glad you could see your Mom and Dad again, Mike. And many happy returns to Woodwidow's mother. 97 and still living semi-independently, that's amazing.

    Gotta agree Molly, those eggs look great. What is the temp of the pool?
    Only keep two of the pics from yesterday. Before he started cutting and when he quit. I can see the farm house again.
    He still has a long ways to go but he got a good start.

    Morning All. Sun coming through the fog this morning. Rain predicted for tomorrow night. It is going to be a nice day. Everyone coming over for a birthday party so my day will be busy.
    Midwinter I agree with everyone. Those deviled eggs look awesome. Those and potato salad with fried chicken (shake and bake) are my favourite summer evening meal.
    T.Jeff Veal don't push going back to work if you are still feeling crummy. It could rebound and bite you back.
    Chazsbetterhalf I like the view you are getting back. It is amazing how fast trees grow up and block the view.
    MikeInMa this could be the last day of nice weather as I think we are supposed to get a week of rain coming up.
