Good afternoon! 61F and rain at the moment. I'm hoping it clears up so I can mow but I'm not holding my breath. I got more wood split last night for a customer order. I've done almost a cord in 2 nights so I think I'll take a break until the weekend. Maybe I'll do some inside work tonight. Have a God day!

 

I didn't want to like this post. I hope you and Miz Carol feel better soon!

 

Evening All. I don't think I posted this morning or yesterday. Our storm hit but for our area it was rather a dud. We did sent the ferry students home early today but at the regular time, it didn't look that bad out there. They were glad to go home early.

Dennis, I’m the biggest hypocrite but putting up with the going back to take care of yourself sure sounds like the wiser course.

And this is from a man that his wife tells the doctor if you put him in the hospital then sedate him. No matter why he’s in. If not, then you can deal with his hospital gowned bare butt going out the door heading home.

62 and rainy here, cloudy all day, the wood stove will have a fire today to be sure. Second day in a row also.

Not just of any disease, or only of when He feels like it.
Does not omit physical results of accidents, self inflicted injuries, certain sicknesses, conditions of the soul (mind, will, emotions.....grief, despair, bitterness). Does not omit the disease I've suffered with for years.

Good morning Mike.
Here in Vermont the Wife just said that I may need to turn the furnace back on as it’s chilly in the house.
And supposed to be above 90° Saturday!

The crews have finished the mini split installation in the cottage and are now working in the main house.
Lot of hustle and bustle going on around here and with the rain/damp I may retreat out to the shop and throw a couple of sticks in the stove myself.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Sure is nice to see other members join in today. Please come back on a regular basis. I love to hear what's going in in your part of the world.
We are beginning to feel alive...I think...
Wife's test came back + today......
We did sneak to town yesterday afternoon, they finally gave her some meds, she is up and moving around this morning.
Our daughter was here this weekend some, she just tested + with a home kit.
We brought the tractor home from the jobsite, probably be another week or so before we can go back. Got a few maintenance items that can be done.

$'s saved by burning wood get spent for electricity.

Morning All. Sunshine and calm water out there. I guess that storm was pretty vicious on the south and west side of the island. We were kind of protected from it.
Last day of work for me this week. My job sharing with the other person has been working out pretty well. We are getting everything done that needs to be done.

Good morning! 64F and hazy. The heat returns today. Rain coming back tomorrow. I'm waiting for a candidate to come in to interview. It was too wet yesterday to do anything so I tinkered with the mower. Music practice at church tonight. Have a God day!
