I didn’t get much flavor out of it, it burned unevenly I had to touch it up a couple times in the first half. After about the 1/2 way point I set it down to load the planter then relit about 45 minutes later & it was about like eating a mouthful of pepper.

I had pretty high expectations after doing some reading on them. I will give one another try at a later date when I am just sitting around relaxing to see if things have changed any.

Gurkha’s are hit and miss for me. Some are reorder worthy and some are turned into mowing cigars..

This one is a mowing cigar, if it hadn’t rained last night. In this cigars defense, it’s one of the ones that got poofy in the high humidity humidor. I have had a 5 of them segregated for a while now with some unhydrated Heartfelt beads. It had actually firmed up so the high humidity may have messed with it a bit but I had no problems with the burn on it.

Today's smoke while on the riding mower. It was better than the last time I had one but don't think I'd order them again.

That’s either the tiniest chainsaw I did ever saw or that cigar is HUGE!

Last evenings selection. Couldn't enjoy it as I made the poor decision to sit on the dock with the wind in my face. You wouldn't believe just how much that screwed up the burn......and in a hurry too!

Incidentally, I see a whole bunch of drew estates cigar line on CI's MMAO. ????

I am amazed at how much even a light breeze (around 5mph) can have an effect on the burn of a cigar, let alone a 10mph or breeze.

Either Thompsons or CI had a special either end of last week or over the weekend on DE Legends Black.

These look rather interesting & tasty but at over $8 a cigar, it would be a lot if you didn’t like them.

Enjoyed one last evening while hot tubbing watching “the office” with my bride. I think it was the sweet tip maduro from Westin that JimBear sent. Was a great smoke. Good flavor and good smoke with a easy, clean draw

I’m glad you liked it, I thought the one I had was pretty good also. Next time I am thru that area I plan on grabbing a Connecticut & Habano to try also & maybe some more Maduros.

I really enjoyed this one, I was a bit skeptical going in but it turned out to be a good one. It was one of the first cigars I bought in a sampler pack.

I was thinking I would let this rest for a couple weeks or a month but I can’t help myself. Two days it’s going to be.
Now I know what they mean when something smells barn yardy. Wow they are odoriferous.

I’ll take your word for it. My youngest daughter is getting a box, my son & I will split them for Father’s Day.

Remember, I've had them sitting for a couple of years too. They are rolled with a hole remaining it the head so no need for a punch or cutter. I usually enjoy them down to 1/3. Had another one yesterday while setting minnow traps in a new location. The last locations just didn't produce good enough.

    Hope you two enjoy them!
