I'd be all over that! My offer would be to charge them double what the tree service I hire to take it down will charge me because I'm not touching that. Of course I'd have them cut the wood and load on my trailer too...
Lol my advice to the tree owner would be step out your back door and gfy! 3 maybe 4 buildings, at least 3 fences possibly overhead utilities. If a crane can’t get close that’s going to take lots of skilled folks to pull off.
But it's HIGHLY VALUABLE! Probably fetch somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000/bf. A single stick of kindling could get your kid's college fund started
Hey let’s give this guy the benefit of the doubt. He did say “You cut.” which makes it sound pretty straightforward. We’re not actually there—we’re basing it on one photo that only shows a building tight against it (good for leverage), another building within striking distance that looks like it’s ready to come down anyway (and possibly on someone else’s property, so any liability is waived automatically I think), and a fence that is so new it probably uses tree-proof technology. Easy peasy!
