A little paint goes a long way. Need to get more J in the morning, then siding should go pretty quick next week when I get back to town to help him finish it.

We went from long sleeve weather, to 2 days of t-shirt weather, to tank top weather with the AC going. Was 88* here yesterday. The previous two days the humidity was in the low 20's (was down to 17% Thursday), but it was near 50% yesterday. Went from 30* mornings, to in the low 50's yesterday morning, to this morning it is 65* at 4 am.

Makes it hard to get the house cool naturally when the morning is that warm. I turned off the AC when I got up about an hour ago, installed the two window fans and opened windows at the other side of the house, and it is still 74* in here (temp I run the AC at). At least I'm getting the polyurethane smell out of the house (yes it is project time).

WIWAK I always carried 3 (they dropped off after 3 years back then - don't know how they do it now). I've always had a lead foot, but I've managed to keep it down to carrying 1 plus a few stops per year reminding me that the local friendly law enforcement is out there and to slow it down. Funny, I haven't been stopped in the last couple of years - that's what WFH will do for you.

Hey, that reminds me, the last ticket I got was May 2019 for going 80 in a 55 (I wasn't the only one, just the one who got stopped). I bet it would surprise people that I got the ticket in the Focus and not the Explorer (and no, it wasn't an RS, just a cheap little 1.0 liter with eco-boost). I probably won't save on insurance after the ticket drops since it went back down immediately after I sold the car. Maybe it will reduce some - guess I'll find out in December.

Are people on this thread now up late, or up early? :DI am up early getting ready for my first foray out with the boat this spring.

Our daughter had a healthy baby boy early this week…our second grandchild. Their family is only 10 minute drive away. So we are very happy about that too!

They are good jacks. Have 2 or 3 myself. Just be careful, load can shift to the side. Also watch the handle, fellow borrowed one to change tire on his service truck, hand slipped off while pushing down on handle, lost a few teefs...:jaw:

Congratulation on the new child. Grandchildren can be so much fun. Spoil them, then send them back to their parents to deal with. .
Folks on this site are apt to be up all hours of the day or night. Some have a pattern, some not. Predictably unpredictable I like to call it.

I wonder if we have any way of knowing how many folks have been active on here in the past year? Seems we get some who come and go, Others who come, stay for a spell, then fade off, the then there is the hard core group. I think that is typical of most neighborhoods.

Scratch that, the Mrs just had a melt down as I was headed up the ladder. Said it looks wiggly and unsafe. Lol! How do you think I painted this side of the house last year dear? It can wait till she’s not home I guess.

I think she is on the phone upping my life insurance!
