    Good morning everyone! 37° this morning, 85° forecast for the end of the week. Another spring where we go from wood fire to AC in a few days.
    Time to work on opening the pool, yuck.
    Yesterday was a good temp for splitting. The ash made a satisfying pop when it split. IMG_20220508_36334.jpg

    Good morning! Already 57F and sunny. Looks to be a nice, although hot week. Got some mowing done yesterday. The yard was looking more like a field after being gone almost a week. Tree service had dropped a load of wood chips so I got those spread. My wife is having a procedure this morning. Prayers would be appreciated. Tonight, the plan is do some string trimming, split about a face cord and make some bundles. Have a God day!

    Morning All. Mom and I got back safely yesterday. Totally different weather coming back with mostly sunny skies. Back to work this morning with no internet at the school. Power outage Sat night for three hours on the north end of the island messed with the school district internet service. It will be a fun morning.

    Good morning everybody. Started the warm up today. Upper 30s to begin and going to 65. Clear blue skies. The rest of the week in the 70s. So neat to say that.
    Nice picture of Neil. Now is he running the splitter completely on his own? Nice little stack he has.
    Once it warms up a bit more going to check out and see how the yard is drying.

    I'm planning to go to my SIL's this morning and split some oak rounds with a hydro splitter. Should be entertaining for me.

    Offers came in for my folks house. We accepted one. It'll be nice to get the sale finalized.

    Bad night fighting with leg cramps. It was really miserable for a while as I couldn't seem to get one of the legs to ease up. Maybe some of you folks heard me... So I got up late and woke up to thunder. That was not in the forecast. Looking at radar it was just to our south. Nothing else shows on radar but it is really dark to our west. I hope for no rain at all for a while. So do the farmers.

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. It's a cool 47° this morning. Dropping grandson off at preschool, then going by a house to trim up a big limb that fell in Friday's storm. Then we will head over to the logging job. Should warm up fast, probably in the 80's.
