this thing choked 4 way wedge
Hammered it off after 5 minutes with two sledges

reversed and tried single wedge, this time 10 minutes with two sledges wouldn’t come off

then cut with chain saw between wedge and hose, then hammer end piece off wedge

unbelievable

looked like any other plain maple log

 

That's what would happen if ya crossed Elm and a Rubber Tree. Sounds like it wasted a bit of time.

 

I bet there’s going to be a lot of city maples like that.

 

Thats messed up. Did it have you saying WTH is going on? Ive split through nails & barbed wire. Once a piece of synthetic rope, bit never a hose.
