    Good morning, everyone.

Nice day ahead. Mid-30's now, heading to near 70, sunny.

I hope to get to my SIL's with a friend, to cut some red oak that's been waiting for me.

I then hope to get to my folks house to continue preparing it to be listed for sale.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning. Chilly rain again most of the day - so the fire feels good.

Good morning everyone! Mike, listing your parents' house is exciting, I hope you get some good offers.
We took a drive to Vermont yesterday, stopped at a cheese maker and a plant nursery. We also swung by WeldrDave's property, but he wasn't around.
Today my grandson comes up. It'll be a nice day, so we'll split some wood, and maybe hit a playground. IMG_20220429_35957.jpg
    Have a good one!

How did the drive way look Molly? I haven't seen it yet without snow! Was it easy to transit?

We were driving the Prius, and Tod said we'd better not attempt it, it wouldn't make it up there without bottoming out. It wasn't flat, there were some channels where it is steep, but not bad. Wish I had thought to snap a pic or two. The vinca was blooming, very pretty.

Morning All. Dry this morning so we got our walk in. I think we had a bear ahead of us on the trail. Fortunately it was far enough ahead that Shadow didn't think to find it. Bookkeeping this morning and then over to Mom's for a visit.
Midwinter in the midst of my neglected garden I found forget me nots and my tulips are blooming in the barrel garden.

the horse tails are taking over the veggie garden again. It has been too wet and cold to get out and do anything.

    Everyone have a great day.

Your spring flowers are about on the same bloom schedule as ours. Very pretty!
Take some time off of work once it gets warm!

19846.jpeg Fixed the lawnmower this morning. A few hydraulic motor mounts had broke clean through. While I was mowing this afternoon I found a swarm of bees. I caught them in a nuc box. Now I need to get a hive finished for them. I have a deep and a medium hive box. Need a bottom board and a roof

 ... I made no records, but got home... Had a head wind or a partial head wind all day long. All in all wasn't too bad.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Sure did enjoy the time with friends at Dennis'. We made the 200 mile drive on up to Mackinaw City. It was rainy and some wind when we got here. 38° late afternoon. 0501221606.jpg
Rode around a bit and saw this park 0501221752.jpg
It is foggy and calm this morning. 0502220858.jpg

Morning all. Pouring rain this morning so stayed in bed an extra hour instead of going for our walk. Three days of work this week and then I am taking Mom to a library board meeting down island. A couple of days in the big city.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning. It is Election Day! Please send good thoughts on my bid for House of Representatives. Mrs. Sourwood is running for County Recorder.

Different friends I have made around the State are running for Sheriff (we have term limits, so about 45 new Sheriffs are being chosen)

warm an rain. Both sides moan that their folks won’t come out in the rain. Too many have sacrificed to give us this privilege. :usa:

edit: Just thought of my slogan- “Hickory in every hearth”
