Oh I agree, the beer only comes out once the saw and splitter are put away. No exceptions!

Hang tight it and many more were taken. It's gonna take Dennis and others some time to get them up.

No, not the same area. This was a lot wetter a week ago but the water went down a lot. But of course it left the mud there.

Dennis thank you for your hospitality I had a great weekend. I tried sleeping on the couch last night but tapped out after 20 minutes, I felt like a baked potato.

The food was fantastic and I met a lot of great people. Thank you amateur cutter , T.Jeff Veal and huskihl for letting me run your saws!

    I think it was 35.

Sorry I have not had much time to get on the computer so have not posted pictures. Honestly I didn't take but a very few but everyone else was doing a good job of taking pictures. I'll be posting the group picture along with some that Pam took very soon...I hope. At least I'm trying. Between phone calls and people coming and going it is still difficult to get some things done.

Thank you to Denny for hosting this and everyone else that helped make this gathering a success. It was great making new friends and seeing some I've already made in the past. The food was outstanding and I probably gained a few pounds lol. I really enjoyed the stories of lifes adventures from SCHallenger walt and T.Jeff Veal and hope to see them all again soon as well as the rest of you. Thank you Pallet Pete for another test subject. Tucker Ohio and Kevin huskihl it was great having you as my temporary neighbors despite the torpedo heater sounds and snoring. Lol. How welcoming everyone is was almost overwhelming and the hospitality was second to none. Again, thank you all for excepting this chatter box of saw wrecker into the flock.

Hey amateur cutter ...need me to check out a saw for you? .

Group Pictures. 1st one was just getting ready. It was requested the picture be taken by the wind chimes. Last year Stephiedoll was my secret Santa and gifted me this beautiful wind chime. At the bottom hand a plaque that reads, "In loving memory of The Ornery One. Judy Cook.

As usual, I was humbled with the gang that gathered at our humble place. I think everyone had a good time and I certainly did even though so many kept telling me to go sit down. I remember Cole once I was starting to do some useful work and he stopped his saw and said, "Go sit down old man." lol

The gathering began on Tuesday night when Kevin came after that long drive from Kansas. I think Wednesday Steve came And then more along with phone calls telling when folks would arrive. I think Thursday Stephie called and had a truck problem south of Lansing so she didn't get here when expected. By Thursday evening we already had a good crew with more on the way. Friday morning had us at a neighbor's cutting his winter supply of wood before returning here for a pizza dinner. Then we hit the woods across the road and a few went in the back of our place to do some cutting. More cutting and playing in some mud Saturday.

Noon Saturday We had some words from Walt about our good friend Kenis. RIP brother. This was followed by door prizes which is always enjoyable. I had a new helper this year when Cameron assisted with the drawing. She is one of the beautiful daughters of Brett (chipper1) and Darcy. We also got a little more work done.

Sunday morning some good guys helped with clean-up. Thank you Dwight, Randy and Brad.

This year our crowd was a bit smaller but went very well and there were more here than I expected with somewhere around 35. The weather started cold and ended damp. The fire pit was a welcome sight all weekend. The food was outstanding and a special thank you goes to Chvymn99, dirtdevil and Pallet Pete and huskihl. I wish to give my most humble thank you to everyone who came this year.

Looks like a great time with decent weather! Thanks for sharing the pictures!

How much wood was processed? Looks like a lot of cutting was going on!
