Might as well spend it. Better then losing money holding cash.

We might see a bit of a deflationary period in the next 6 months. Trucking is starting to slow a little. I'm keeping a little bit of cash in reserve in the event that it does happen.

I’m hearing from dealers on many fronts say commercial sales are still strong but homeowner sales are slowing rapidly across the board. I’m in agreement with you.

I had to have a tube replaced in one of my front tires on my garden tractor and I was told tube prices have almost doubled in the past year. OUCH

Lots of markets out there, I’m hearing costal high price areas as entering bubble territory however Midwest and southern/ southeast states are still seeing such high migration from west coast it will take several years to normalize these markets.

My dad was telling us last night about his farm costs and some farmers are talking about not planting dry land due to lack of rain and raising costs.
Pivot tires, $300 10 years ago, $600 2 years ago and now he's quoted &900. Ouch!

Fertilizer prices have tripled compared to a year ago and now there is talk out here not all of it may be delivered in time for planting. A lot of farmers are changing planting plans due to this and a conflict half way around the world happening in Europe's bread basket. Wonder how food prices will keep rising due to this.

Maybe Wildwest can attest to this, but I spoke to my buddy in LaGrange, WY yesterday and he said it is super dry out that way. Welkers Farm on YouTube is saying similar in Montana. Here in the eastern, Midwest, we are not able to get in the fields. Just too wet. It has started drying out, but we are getting rain as I type. Things could get interesting later this year.

Things like this happen when there are kiddos with any level of control of the economy.
