Well if I know they are having one and he has been a pia that week I will run my xs241 for a little while.

But I have been trying to be nice. I have actually made friends with his grandson he is a good kid.

Nice work on the neighbor that is a jackwagon. We need to talk more at Dennis's gtg as my bad neighbor has only gotten worse. There's been more interaction despite the cops telling him he needs to be a good boy.

Awesome score and future firewood LordOfTheFlies ! Great friend as well since you are giving your shorts and uglies to your friend to make room for more artisanal firewood.

Went back today and bucked up two birch logs that were easily accessible. Came home and went to the neighbors house and picked up more cherry from the same score the other day. Aw yeah.

Gonna use the splitter for the birch. Split most of the locust I got by hand.

This last pic of it stacked includes about 1/3 of a bedful of the cherry I picked up today.

Started a new stack with 4 plastic pallets where I had two stacks of Ash I burned through this past winter. Yes sir. Black birch and maybe a handful of cherry as well. I need to re-up already. Only about a dozen rounds left to split!

Went again yesterday and got some red and white oak along with some black birch. Aw yeah.

Look at the difference between bucking logs on the ground and tree service buckage when they are taking down a tree. Still some good pieces in there. Yes, I know this is below my recent standards but I'm ok with it. I'll give some away. Still got some nice red oak and norway maple from them so I'll take it!

Great looking rounds. Im all for bucking it myself. I hate "random length" logs they cut. How much more will you take (dumb question, i know)?

I'm gonna be like the Energizer bunny - going and going and going!

Bucking rounds identical in length is very satisfying indeed.

That looks like some heavy stuff. Do you have a good way of getting it into your truck? ...or just a strong back? I've come across some red oak lately and it's VERY heavy. I’m seeing a bad back in my future.
