Nice spring time snow in North Dakota

The next Blizzard I want is from Dairy Queen, not Mother Nature! I'm sick of winter!

 

Looks like you better make a grocery store run between now & the time that rolls in. Hopefully it peters out.

 

I guess a bunch of cows and calves have disappeared in this system. It was several years ago that a heard of about 200 antelope got smashed by a train after a big storm up on the high line. Spring storms can be destructive as all get out.

 

It just keeps coming, SMH! Just had a blast of lightning that was so close it made Mama Bear jump.

 

According to the weather guessers map it looks like you are in the clear, so you have nothing to worry about… Lol. Hang there, you will be sweaty in places you would rather no be in no time at all.

Stay safe hopefully those nasty storms stay away.

 

They have just moved the no travel advised to just 20 miles west of me, and just east of town there has been over 3 inches of rain today.

 

Went to bed last night and the rainy thunder and lightning weather all day had almost all the snow melted. I wake up and look out the bedroom window and see this.
As I am sitting having my morning coffee I am looking out the patio door at this nightmare of white.
And then as I scrolled FB, I see a post that makes me appreciate still having power because it sounds like not far to the north of me and going west into Montana a huge swath of the area is without power for quite some time.
Mother nature, you are acting like a psycho vindictive mean rat faced w#0r€ ex-girlfriend. Go away or I will get a restraining order!

 

I was on a lot of locations north of Crosby, not many trees up there, there are a few but man when the wind blows it howls. That’s where I saw my first moose. It’s very flat up there.
Just west of Crosby over by Ambrose was where I saw the northern lights in color for the first time also.

 

Picture 1 is from west part of the state where they were colder and got dumped on with snow again.
Picture 2 is the eastern side of the state where they were warmer and got rain. It's been a rough end to winter.

 

Definitely been a wild one for you folks up there.

 

Ahh yeah. Next time I want to complain about the weather I'll think of this thread and keep my big fat mouth closed.

Unfortunately yes they are. Hearing predictions of 2 inches of rain. Kinda unreal that we were in the worst drought in 40 years last summer/fall and now we are on the verge of a submerged spring.

 

Yep, getting a bit nuts
