ICS 695F4 Gas Concrete Chainsaw Bar and Chain Package

Would anyone happen to know who and where these chainsaws are made. I'm looking at this model to buy tomorrow. I can't get a call back to cut a egress window into one of my jobs.

I've owned a few wackers, but not an ICS.

The chains are made in Oregon, and cost about 500 to replace it looks like. Just curious about the power head.

Powerhead is made by Efco in Italy. Good quality. Can get chains on eBay for $150-200

Thanks! That was fast. I googled it for awhile, but couldn't find anything. I'll order it tomorrow.

Yeah they’re not cheap. That combo is probably $2k now. They work well though, just slow. They need water hooked up to lube/wash the bar

I guess they’re more than that now. Jeez. Mine is a 680 and they used to be $1600

I was looking at the 680. With a bar and two chains it was 1889. I guess those are getting hard to find just like everything else. I was a bit shocked at the chain price now. I can remember when I was paying over 350 for a 14 inch diamond blade for the demo saws.

Yeah I was getting diamond blades 25 years ago for about $150 apiece, and then I bought what I thought would be a good one for $500. It lasted about the same as the others. Now I buy the cheap ones when they go on sale through HL supply for about $40 apiece. They may not last as long as the expensive ones, but I know damm well they last more than half as long

I feel the same way. If it pencils out, it doesn't matter price point or manufacturer.

Well I bought it. The home owner is paying for The power power head, and one chain. I'll eat my labor. Can't find anyone else that can get to it before July that won't use a circ saw that over cuts 8 inches. I can't have that as it is a old log ranch home. It will work out for both of us due to time constraints and sky rocketing inflation.

If I'm willing to cut out foundations in the future I'll charge $5.90 an inch on 8 inch walls. That is the going rate around here now.
