    044 last manufactured in 2001. They switched to the MS440. I think flippy caps started then too.

    The size of the wrist pin. The 10mm are said to have better factory port timing.

    I've worked mine since about 1984. Stihl working it today although somehow it's a lot heavier than it used to be :rofl: :lol:

    I am sitting back waiting but have not seen any $ amount spoken of yet. What is the number although it really probably doesn’t matter for me because it’s most likely out of my reach anyway.
