Thanks. Ive got two more of less the same. Heavy rubber bases. One fell off a truck...literally, a couple years ago in front of a job i was doing. Heard it dragging then a thud. I left it by the road for a few more days and they never came back for it. Second one (pictured) a customer of mine had found and gave it to me. I think its for caution/police line tape to be strung around. Sometimes i can barely fit them in the back once im done filling it with wood.
Different kinda load today. 4 hours one way, and back. After the pic, I aired up the bags and rear tires.
I have locust mania Kidding but serious! My number one wood to scrounge. I go out of my way to seek and hunt it down. I can almost spot the trees blindfolded any time of the year. Sold nearly ten cords of it this season. I have to get 3-4 more PU fulls before months end and ill be satisfied...maybe!
Nice score buZZsaw BRAD , how long will the drying process take for that load of shagbark hickory and black locust?
hickory gets two years or at least two full Summers. The BL had its bark left behind so it will dry faster but may go for 23-24.
