She sure was lucky. That same accident happened down here several yrs ago. Guy fell asleep after nightshift on the way home. Log truck had stopped at and intersection. He didn't make it.

 

Congratulations to the family. Nothing like those grands. We have a high chair and rocking horse that my dad and mom made for our kids. The grands have used them both. Hope it will continue.

Good morning, y'all. Hope yall have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 37° this morning, 65° inside, but warming up. Got to move a few more pecan logs to a new stack, go pick up a few more totes, then cut a big yard. Probably go till up a couple garden spots for friends this evening.

Morning All. Dark and wet out there this morning. We are supposed have a heavy spring system over us today. Yesterday turned out to be quite nice but I didn't get outside. Everything was wet and cold.
Off to work today. Spring break is over.
MikeInMa and T.Jeff Veal Mom and I had to clean out her father's place. He had lived there 72 years. It was quite a job. Then we had to clean out my father's sister place. Mom is making it her mission to at least go through the paperwork she has stashed away and do a lot of shredding. She was a bookkeeper for several business and organizations for whom she kept everything. I am taking bags of shredding to recycling.

Good morning! 43F and cloudy. It rained over night and for a while this morning. Did some more splitting yesterday, trying a different strategy making a big pile on top of pallets. Today is payroll day plus interviews this afternoon. I still have a few small logs in the wood yard to cut up tonight. Got the rest of it organized over the weekend. Have a God day!

Took a little fall yesterday afternoon . Going to stand and some how twisted my foot. Down I went. Might have strained a muscle in my foot. Now I am limping around

My husband feels crappy this AM, went back to bed. He'll take a Covid test when he gets up again.
We thought we were all set with taxes, but our accountant needs one more form. Also, he's talked us into selling our rental condo. Waiting on a callback from a realtor we've used before.
It'll be a slow day, with husband sick. Good for yardwork though, high of 60°.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Up early this morning, had to drive 70+ miles to Augusta, 2yr old grandson, Riley, had to be here @7:15 for ear tubes.
Should be home before lunch, supposed to be some severe weather heading this way later today.

Good morning! 34F and partly sunny with a little fog earlier. Getting fairly warm before rain moves in again. I got a few small logs cut last night so the wood yard is starting to clear out (quite a few big ones left). I've had a pile of small limbs back in the processing center for months. I need to get those chipped up tonight as I need the room for more wood. Have a God day!

Morning All. Dark and windy outside. I think the rain should ease off today. Ground is saturated. Yesterday was first day back for the week and it was pretty busy. No word from the truck repairs yet so we are still a one car family.
Midwinter Love the colour of the crocuses. Mine are pretty well all gone. I just have a few daffodils blooming right now.

Went back and looked again. The blue ones were irises. I haven't grown them before.
