    Milled my first log today. Just a little one. Cut 3 or 4 trees too thin and curvy to get any real lumber out of, but I took a short section and a couple bar clamps for a trial run and got a little maple mini beam out of it.

    definitely need to get my permanent clamp system set up before I start cutting bigger logs, but it cuts.

    I bought 8 5/4"x16' deck boards and 2 2"x4"x12' and it was almost $250 after tax. Then I filled up my truck for $100. It's nuts.
