That was nice cigar, I will try another one with just a flat cut to see if they burn any differently.
    I have 4 more.

    That’s a nice variety.

I just bought a 5 pack of Isla del Sols Gran Coronas the other day, they haven’t arrived yet. I bought a 10 pack sampler of NUBS when I first started hoarding cigars, they have been in the humidor for a about 3 weeks now.

Picked up a wood permit from the USFS this past week so today I took a ride a couple miles from my place to check out a cut that was goig on this winter.

Looks like there'll be some wood to be grabbed but the road is beginning to thaw now and pretty soft. 3 ton gross limit doesn't get too much wood since the curb weight of the tr4uck is at 5300lbs. Way too much snow left anyway. The only bare spots I saw were a few soft spots on the road.

Anyway......I had one of these that I picked up some time ago. The first (right off the truck) was the most enjoyable; every one after that just kept going downhill. Today, I made it to 1/2 way but should have got rid of it at the 1/4 mark. Not on the "buy again" list.

Smoking a cigar like this will get a guy to quit quick!

I was just reading somewhere & they were all pumped up about Brickhouse cigars but every type of cigar is different.

Personal tastes. It burned OK with just a touch of tunneling that would begin but corrected itself......no, it wasn't being smoked too fast either.

Are you gents using 48qt coolers for coolidors ?

If so how are you setting up the shelving in them ? That fella on cigar obsession was just using plastic bags in his coolidors for loose cigars but it doesn’t seem like much humidity would get circulated that way.

I only have one box of full size cigars, I have a few tins of cigarillos but everything else is loose from being in samplers or 5/10 packs.

I am thinking about making some shelves out of Cherry but I am somewhat concerned about how to hold them together.

I don’t want any glue to be overpowering smell wise.

Screws or brads may end up corroding & giving off a funky aroma also.

I'm a simple style. Function over Looks. :D

    Humidity control:
HUMI-CARE EH Plus Electronic Humidifier - Cigars International

    Humidor:
Quick and Cool 100 Qt Cooler

Then Like 5 tupperware containers inside with those spanish cedar blocks that comes from inside of some of the boxes of cigars over the years.

Its been set up like this for many of years.

:D... That's a good question. You can't get in a rat race with someone thats wants it. You have to pick and choose your fires. So like right now its at $33 dollars for 15 that's about 2.2 per cigar plus a bit on for shipping thats about 3 and some change for total. Not bad, probably 6-8 dollar in a cigar store....
