It’s get the gullet and raker day. Pre: Post: I’m on my 4th loop. Also filed off the safety bumpers on a loop of semi 325.
This is what I need to try on a couple chains I have. My little 170 has a chain like that and it doesn't look like anyone makes a chain without the bumpers in 043 gauge. I also have the chain that came on the new 400 and it has the green link chain , I think Stihl has that as RS3 series. Why on earth would that saw come with that chain? The dealer did order me the standard RS series chain and told me to keep the one it came with but the safety bumpers need to go bye-bye!
The house you can see is another neighbor. Had a tree blow down on the garage where the blue tarp is this week.
I handled the 592 with a 28” light bar and it felt pretty light and balanced. No cutting demos I tried to get a free hat for Brad
Missed this and didn’t see it cause it’s in my [quote. ]’s. More metal in there does not help chip evacuation (i do noodle quite a bit). It adds unnecessary weight and sometimes gets in the way of the depth gauge/raker guide I use. I have the time and desire to turn it I to yellow/non safety chain. File dust, lol.
Rescued a blow down black locust from under a giant blow down pine, and ripped some noods with the freshly muff modded 620p.
Hey... Check out Ansel Adam's with a chainsaw fetish.... Just kidding Chud. Nice pictures with the addition of perspective and depth of field. I may have to break out the F1.4 35mm DSLR and try to one up you...
Well I try to add some artistic impression to pics of the same chainsaws. It’s cheaper than buying different saws too
That first one been dead for a good while. Should be ready to burn in no time. Second one looks like a real nice SS log.
