I really don’t know what to say as I am still trying to figure out why…Kenis had the ability to take any story and make everyone laugh. I met him at Dennis’s and we message and talked for years after. Stayed at his house a few times and stopped there many times as I was in the area for work or other things.

    Miss you brother.

I never met Kenis, and see that as a great loss.

I haven’t been on here much lately. Life got in the way, but I saw Pallet Pete’s post on Facebook earlier today.

I never had the privilege of meeting Kenis, but exchanged a lot of text messages and phone calls with him back when I got my first pellet furnace. He gave me a lot of tips and saved me a lot of gray hairs. I could tell he was a good guy, and he will be missed by a lot of people.

I bought a saw from him quite a few years ago. He said it ‘needed work’. Ended up needing a fuel line. I used that saw (a Poulan 3400) this winter when my Stihl decided to be it’s usual pain in the rear. I hadn’t run it since I bought it/fixed the fuel line (back in 2015 if I had to guess). Of course it started right up. I’ll think of him whenever I use that saw going forward.

    Rest In Peace Kenis.

Same here. I never had the chance to meet him. I went to my first gtg at Dennis's place last spring, and that was one that Kenis wasn't able to make.

I know now that I missed out on ever meeting him.:(

I know he would want it said that you were high on his list of intended meet ups.

I too have a pellet furnace inspired and guided by him though I never met him. Jenn generously messaged info about a school program she's involved in too. His purple Man Cave is a legacy here and across the internet that's inspired so many. I'm praying for all of them.

Oh my gosh. I’m just seeing this now. My heart is broken for his family. I never met him personally, but he was always a gentleman on the FHC. In his honor, I just went back and looked at everything he’s posted on here. What a character:(

    He will be truly missed.

I haven't said much as I don’t have a lot of words I guess. Kenis helped me more than once and I am great full to him. We didn’t always see eye to eye but I always respected Kenis and called him friend. He was a good man and friend. I pray for his family…. I met him some 12 years ago I believe and am better for it… He helped me when I was fighting a tumor, helped when I was installing our pellet stove and helped with advice on various other projects. He was the definition of loyal.

I really would have liked to be there but it just wasn't in the cards. I'm devastated for the family.

I'll be raising a toast later this evening in his honor, anyone else is welcome to join me. I'll start a thread later....

walt and I went to say goodbye to our friend/brother today. Very sad day, but it was good to see how many people have been touched and had the pleasure of having met Kenis throughout his short life. The little town of Wellington was filled with mourners today.
