Now that the Kubota maint. Is done....
    20220322_140243.jpg

Brought the old 1985 Honda 250es Big Red home for its once a year fluid change/wash/checkup.
Got it pressure washed up .
Now time for all the oil changes...spark plug...clean air filter..adjust the brakes..etc..etc.
Also...last year, I pulled the valve caps off to adjust the valves. Turns out..they were still right on the money ! But every since...ive had a little oil seeping from them. So gonna order up the gaskets/o-rings...and see if that dries it up.

Any other 3 wheelers out there ???

Good shape for an old timer.
Had a couple of trikes back in the 80's.
Still remember my first ride ; note to self : Do not put your foot down when going into a corner like you do on a dirt bike. Another lesson in life learned in a hurry.

Hey thanks ! I'll remember about the feet ! Ouch !!
I also learned that for some reason...the front tire can kick up sticks and shove them up my pant legs ! I've almost been impaled a time or two lol !

    That machine looks great.
I had almost the same trike in the late 90s, but an older version. Mine was a hard tail and had big balloon tires to compensate (it didn’t quite work) I think it was a 200m but could be wrong.

After I blew it up I scooped up a 1985 Kawasaki Tecate roller put to the side of the road for free, without an engine. At the time I had an 85 KX125 dirt bike, so the motor and exhaust went on the trike for the winter. Big fun.

I still have my '86 350x...did a full frame up restore on it years back, new plastic n all...changed from the white '86 plastic to the red '85 plastic.
Its been sitting for quite a while though...last time I went to get it out I found out the fuel had some water in it and my perfect gas tank was rusted through the bottom :(
I'll get 'er fixed up and running again one of these days... :quad:

What a great machine! Those old hondas run forever. I had a 250sx that I hunted with for several years. It was also a blast to play around on in the snow.

I spent alot of time on a 350 when I was younger. Learned alot of painful lesson on that old trike. She see if my buddy will sell it to me and get it going again.

My back has never been the same after a couple years on an '82 Honda ATC185s with 4 ply Wooley Booger tires, and no suspension!
My worst external scars by far are from a Yamaha Rhino SxS though.

I've watched several 200x wheelers end up at the bottom of big hills...not pretty.

Same here...mine was the "Tri-Rod"...5 HP IIRC...I had a love hate relationship with that thing...loved it because it was better than nothing (riding a bicycle when the neighbor kids were all on Z50's, which is what I really wanted) but hated it because it had a lot of mechanical issues and it often let me down. Mainly due to the centrifugal clutch system and that junk B/S engine!

I had a 125, it was fun. My slightly older cousin had a big red with the big tires. One day the two of us dummies floated it out on the lake much farther than we should of. That end end up interesting. We got pulled off by a boat.

neighbor down the road has a sick big red that has a built motor I have only seen it go once and holy moly. He also has a mint completely original oddesy not the van. Oh and an early bronco frame with a brat body on it 40 inch tires and a v8 called “bratco” insert Tim Taylor grunt.

The old 250 with balloon tires, or the newer 350 that looks more like a Baja racer?

    Which one looks familiar?
I'm guessing the 250, since you were 6.

That 350 is sweet. Bet they bring a pretty penny if you could even find one.
