    Being that I am back to 100% and need the exercise, I responded to a craigslist post from a lady in the town next to mine who wanted some logs removed. From her posted photo they looked like beech so I was all over it. They were indeed beech, and she also had some maple and hop hornbeam. It's good to be back at it!

    Some folks lift weights at a gym. My weights are logs and my gym is wherever I find them. This beech logs were a good workout. :D

    I'm good; have a lot already stored. The stuff I am splitting now will be used for winter 2023-24 unless it's ready this fall.

    I work with a 21 yr old body builder. We were working on a project and one of the other guys told him he has pretty muscles. Gym muscles not good for pratical purposes. When it came time to move some heavy things my 55yr old firewood muscles were much more useful
