Larry, you’ve paid the price with your blood sweat and health and I thank you for your service. My doctor told me once to turn off the news because it can be unhealthy to keep high levels of stress. I watch until it starts to get to me then off it goes. I have a very hard time watching the 9/11 memorials. In fact, I avoid them now. The first year the reading of the names of some that were friends of my friends or customers of mine just got to me and I was one of the lucky ones who didn’t lose a relative. There is more emotional pain than physical at times. Hang in there.

Thanks, PTSD is never gone. Sometimes better, sometimes not. I know I should avoid the news. Just hard to. I get help at the VA.

Most of the time it is not bad. This is first time I have had this bad of a flair up. Normally only one or two days.

I would like to ask you to get a professional opinion on what is going on with your back, unless you already know what it is. Left unattended, it can get worse. You don't need anymore on your list of troubles. Good luck.

    SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD

"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God..." Ephesians 6:16-17

The Lord God has given us an arsenal to do battle against the devil. We have truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the infallible Word of God. It is the most powerful force in the universe. When we speak God's Word the creation of God has to respond, the enemy has to submit to it. Speak to your situation and circumstances. Declare what God is saying and you will overcome the lies of the devil.

QUESTION: How do you respond to the negative words that the enemy speaks to come against and discourage you?

PRAYER: Father God, may I always stand strong in battle against the devil, wielding your Word of Truth as an expert swordsman, casting down every lie he speaks against me and your people.

    Scripture
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
    Ephesians 6:10‭-‬18 NIV

Caffeine! And day off! Haven’t figured out what I’m going to do today. Might just do nothing but:beerbbq:,, and :fart:!

No. There will be a long walk through the woods. At least.

Well this pile of ash average 9 foot long over 24” diameter was in a tree dump less than mile from home. Neighbor loaded it on trailer with his tractor 39725964-DDB2-44DE-8977-B1C0E69FF049.jpeg

It now sits in my processing area.

All week apparently. We need the rain here, so it's fine. It will help my trees and grass I planted last fall, and the boxwoods will get healthier after being wrapped all winter. We took the covers off of them right after it was done being brutally cold, about 2 weeks now.

I still need to remove the mulch/ stump grindings from the big ash in the backyard, and put the topsoil and get that seeded. That's the last area I need to do, so while it's the biggest, it's also the last.

    March Madness night here.

Earlier I ran a bunch of errands in town, then picked up 16 large bags of dry pine shavings from a nearby Amish saw mill. Had lunch and then walked through the woods with a long pointed shovel and cleared some areas of ice, branches, sticks, grass, etc. to help the water move faster. That was a workout!
