Decided to get off the tree line and go take care of some other stuff around the property. A couple of Apple branches...and another dead Ash. I'm noticing a theme !

One of my favorite spots in the woods. Old tree line with Sugar Maples ..Oaks....and old old black locust fence posts. Look down through there..you can see a bunch still standing ! My parents have been up here abt 50 years...and it was already an abandoned fence when they moved it. Look how far the woods has grown out from it !! Wonder how long those have been there . We could hang fence on them now...they are that sturdy still !

And something annoying . Been trying to use the Echo alil more. I've had Husqvarna saws too long I guess. The Husky has the on off switch that always bounces back to the on position. I struggled all day with the Echo's manual toggle switch !!!!! It's amazing what a fella can get use to !!

With a Husky like that, I'd be hard pressed to bother with the lil' Echo. I'm betting the antivibe is night and day different.

Oh no doubt. The antivibe...balance..and zip of the 562xp are second to none !
But I like the simplicity of the Echo. I put up with the extra weight of the Echo begrudgingly lol !

You will see my Huskys more than the Echo...if thats says anything !!

Nice little cut there HF!
It is amazing the way nature "takes back" open land. The more i experience black locust the more and more i an amazed by it too, not only for firewood. Have some milled and looking forward to building some outdoor stuff with it.

I can believe it ! I actually prefer the 3 wheelers. I can maneuver around the woods ..off the trails no problem...and the 250 has plenty of power for me !

Echo saw is like a woman, ya gotta turn it back on before it'll rev up. FYI, those Locust posts will outlast us.
