Now that Maple Syrup season is officially over for us..its time to get back to property maintenance. The property lines have been pushing us over for the last 30 years..time to push back ! Nothing but lots of dead ash and apple. Great firewood ! Can't get the tractor and grapple in cuz its too soft...so going old school on this project !

Nice. That is going to make one heck of a burn pile if you decide to burn the slash.

That's a big job, nice work!

Oh man, I have always wanted a big red, I love ATC's, I have had a few, the main one I rode was a 185 with a 200 engine in it that was bored .60 over. Sadly sold them all and have been wanting one again for a long time

Done with sap so now still working in mud. But when mud season hits it won't be long before good weather and conditions are here.

I'm afraid I don't fully agree sir. The good working weather was January & February this year. Cold made good hard ground and we had about the right amount of snow for skidding logs. We got 30ish cord stacked up here this winter.:dex:@HoneyFuzz , that fence line clearing is real work by hand, nice job!

When you said old school, I thought I would see a horse and wagon out there packing everything away. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I have heard that dealerships won’t service the trikes anymore because they have such a high crash rating with recreational riding. Word was that if an owner called to say their three wheeler wasn’t running, the reply was “good, let’s keep it that way”.

any issues with yours, or do your maintain it yourself. If it’s a Honda, they are pretty indestructible.

But if your ground was like ours you would be happy. We do occasionally have some mud but it doesn't last long except for in the swamps.

    I'm sure that's true..plus dealerships usually don't service anything that old anyway. I maintain it myself. Once a year engine/tranny oil...differential fluid..spark plug n air filter...all myself.
Plus I've done brakes...tires..painted rims...rebuilt front shocks and boots...fuel line and peacock.
Nothing ever too serious...and honda is great about parts support too. Can get all genuine Honda parts still !
But I mostly fix everything myself anyway. Try to be self sufficient!

Like when I bought my Kubota tractor...I said on the way out the door...take a good look...you will probably never see it again lol !
