    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 57° this morning in New Orleans. We have to head home today...:(:(...vacation is over. Get ready for Mama's funeral service tomorrow. We had a great time, seeing the old city and outer areas. We went almost to the end of the river yesterday. Found another mom and pop place with great food.

    Morning All. Poured rain last night and this morning it is just above freezing. The highway will have probably had snow last night. More rain today.
    T.Jeff Veal thanks for posting the pictures. I can now see why the area is so susceptible to flooding. That high school was really something.
    MikeInMa I hope all goes well with the x-rays.
    Midwinter to my surprise, I found a daffodil blooming in my garden yesterday. So far it has just been snowdrops, crocuses and heather.

    Good morning! 50F and mostly sunny. Another beautiful (pre)spring day. Took a drive in the Gator around neighbor's woods after work yesterday. Quite a bit of wood is accessible by trail. I'll take the skid steer in, buck and load about a quarter cord in a rack and drive it home. I'm hoping to get about 10 cords out this year. Built 3 of the aforementioned racks from pallets as I need to beef up my inventory. I only have 6 empties and probably another 12 in use. Furnace guy came this morning for annual inspection. Naturally, it's time to replace so I'll get a quote next week. Planning to take advantage of the weather and do some splitting tonight before the rain moves in tomorrow. Have a God day!

    I forgot to mention yesterday about seeing a huge flock of swans. First I was driving towards town when suddenly I saw 3 flocks of swans flying low and they went right over me. A beautiful sight! Later I headed toward Saginaw and had to skirt around the big refuge. As I went around a curve I first saw a bunch of white and immediately wondered why in an open field there would still be that much snow. That snow suddenly turned into more swans! I'd guess close to 1,000 of them. Later I was wishing I had taken my camera. Then I realized my phone has a camera... It's not a great camera but I could have gotten a picture.

    Went out early to bring the garbage can back from the side of the road and heard robins singing.:thumbs::thumbs: Didn't see them but I surely did hear them. Spring is close.

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 50° this morning and foggy. We finally made it home about 10PM last night. Left NOLA about 9:30. Stopped for lunch in Miss, Bbq place called The Shed, another great food spot.

    Morning All. Yesterday was exciting at work. I was the first one to work as my co-worker had a meeting elsewhere and the person who usually disarms the building slept in. Although I am still on the alarm company's list for access, somewhere along the way, my alarm code was deactivated. You guessed. The alarm went off and I couldn't silence it. Someone else showed up and used their code to shut it down. A few minutes later someone else set off the alarm in another part of the building. Noisy start to the day.
