Those that are retired now and don't have to watch the clock, have the option to live like the pioneers did. Up at sun up and in bed after sun down.

There are always the middle of the night trips to the reading room:whistle: and one has to tend to the fire. I can relate to what Backwoods Savage said about napping, too.:sleeping:

Personally I really don’t care witch one they pick to stick with. When you get up at 4am it’s dark either way. It takes me a long time to adjust to the time change. I would appreciate more light in the afternoon during winter.

Boy, you woke this old thread up! I'll go along. I despise the time change nonsense twice a year but do appreciate spring.

I hate dst.....if people want more daylight after work, the schedules should have changed instead of the whole country going on "pretend time" duh!

No longer "spring ahead, fall back". We now "winter ahead".

The changing doesn't matter to me. I'm more a morning person. It'll just be darker in the mornings for awhile.

I consider myself lucky as this doesn't cause me any grief. I have plenty other things to fret about.

Just pick one and leave it is my opinion. In my younger days I'd prefer darker later. Now, I'm not outside late doing things youngins do. Leave it as winter time. Lol.

I always liked the time changes as it never upset my internal clock.
With no side effect from change it was a challenge easily met and conquered twice a year. LOL
Changing/resetting all the clocks was a chore years ago , but pretty much no more, with so many clocks running on network time(s).
I can live with the clock in my car being wrong part of the year.
And my new microwave functions without setting the time.
