And if the front seat was covered with pretty girls, that windshield got special treatment that took a little longer to complete.

And oh the days when a dollar's worth of gas would get a 5 gallon can almost full vs today $5.00 will get you a gallon of gas. :hair:

What i miss most about the "good old days" is we used to get along a lot better even with our differences, now its every man for him self.
A program on the radio yesterday was asking for opinions about gas prices but in reality all they were doing was promoting their own agenda.

It’s hard to “get along” with someone pushing their differences down your throat.

I agree but when those differences are based on misinformation its even less palatable, and apparently people are too lazy to do their own research, people believe what they want to.

This doesn’t usually happen by chance or luck…it is a testament to their values from being raised properly. Now this is a blessing on you and your family. We are working on the same program here with our children and grandchildren (one with another on the way), and things seem to be going in the right direction here too.

Due to this thread, I went and bought four more gallons of bar and chain oil, (Lowes had it on sale. Buy 4 and they were about $10 per gallon) four more bottles of 2-cycle oil, and 10 gallons of non- ethanol gasoline ($4.89 / gallon) (which I treated with Sta-bil 360 Marine grade fuel preservative).

Total cost was about $100. That should last me for a while...

My family of saws have plenty of food and supplies to keep them happy. To me, this is a very satisfying sight.

This is so true in my opinion. Everyone seems so divided in my day to day encounters with folks. It really saddens me. Just my opinion of course.

For a variety of reasons, people are scared and stressed...
When people are under stress they revert to the basic 'tribalism' of Human Nature, which is the basic "Us vs. Them" mentally.
This "Tribalism" is why people are divided and increasingly hostile.

I might add that I feel this is being done deliberately, but that's another conversation.

Don’t blame today’s youth, blame the generation that let them be soft/weak.

Certainly has a lot to do with it. Can’t argue about that one.

Just talked to a wood guy this morning and he said he went up $15/cord. Said he had no choice with fuel prices having gone way up, and his price to buy logs went up.

Also said he's had a number of complaints about it already.

People can complain all they want but it's reality when everything else has gone up. If most sellers increase price, buyers won't have a choice (and in this case, they shouldn't)

This guy has such a cool setup. I'm trying to get him to let me do a video on it. A CRD processor with conveyor and a CRD tumbler. Works exclusively by himself. Probably does at least 300-500 full cord a year from logs.
