We have 50° scheduled for tomorrow. Spring has not forgotten.
DST however, I can do without.

DST should be eliminated. No point in having it. Some states like Arizona don't even acknowledge it.

The old farmers and school buses excuses are also quite silly.

I get home from work at 6pm during the week, so this extra hour of daylight is hugely appreciated.

Yes, but whatever you gain in the spring you loose in the fall. All it does is messes up our internal clocks

This is correct in my humble estimation. It takes me half the summer to get adjusted to the time change. I’m also an early to bed early to rise fella & don’t need it to be light out at 9;00 pm when I’m trying to fall asleep. Just me of course I understand it probably has some positive advantages for others.

Well Dennis, it's getting closer here in south central PA.

Easy fix would be for employers to allow employees to go on "summer hours". Start earlier and quit earlier...or work 10 hr days to get a 4-day work week. Did it that way for a couple decades.

Another fix is all the people that are able to work form home.

But man thinking he can "fix" or change the laws of nature? That's like raising taxes to appease inflation! C'mon man!

There's definitely different opinions on it. My wife and I are late in the day people, so we like it. There's a bipartisan group of senators introducing another bill to make it permanent...

Personally for year round time I’d prefer standard time myself. Again just my opinion.

Hmmm. It will take a more compelling argument than that to get me against DST. Daylight after work this time of year is precious, regardless of what comes in the Fall. As a schoolboy I hated ST because it always started right before deer season, crimping my hunting after school. Maybe I’ll change my mind once retired, but as a 7am to 6pm working stiff, give me DST, please.

Wait, so they are planning on making DST permanent? So does that mean the fall back or spring ahead will be the permanent one? I'm confused.

NEVERMIND, I found my answer. YES! I prefer DST
