    Oh, I remember having a gender identity when I was 8. It didn't have anything to do with sex as we know it as adults. It was all about boy things or girl things. Didn't want anything to do with girl stuff. Wanted to climb, run, jump, make a lot of noise etc. Could care less about a dirty face or hands. Would pee outside and see how far you could go with it. Fun times they were. But then we had to grow up.

    Spring approaches. Wouldn't say it while I was ship watching this morning though. Fingers were nearly non functional when I got in the car. Had to blast the heat and hold my hands on the vents for a few seconds :shiver: worth it though.

    Well, I was the same as a kid (except that peeing thing :D). I didn't want or have dolls - my parents were good that way and got me presents that I circled in the big Christmas book, not according to what society thought I should have. I had play farms containing machinery and animals (no people). I was into sports. Clothes were something I wore for functionality, not something I was obsessed with or cared if I blended in with my peers.

    None of the above had anything to do with "gender identity", had to do with my interests.

    It can be tough for children. You must do your best to teach them and not allow too much influence from so-called teachers and especially other young who just repeat what they have heard. Always remember that a child's mind is very trusting and wants to believe everything. It is up to a parent to guide them into the right way.

    It turned out to be a really nice afternoon yesterday. Got up to 53. 33 now and not supposed to be as warm today. A small area with rain, freezing rain and snow moving across the state but it shouldn't amount to much. High with mid 40's predicted and cloudy. Still have snow in the wooded areas but when we go out into the open it is pretty much all gone.

    I took the snow blade off yesterday! I might call the tire guy about new tires and get the snow tires off.

    Spring is knocking on the door. Supposed to be mid 60's and sunny today. I have the garden tilled and will plant some of the early stuff this evening. Mower is serviced and ready to go...should only be a week or 2 before the yard gets patchy and needs cut.

    Lots and lots of projects lined up for the longer evenings.

    Still plenty of snow here too. But it is definitely melting FAST! Did the bills this morning and got them mailed out. Ran a few other errands and now going to chill out for a bit. Then a workout before lunch with my Mother and Sister. Have a good day firewood hoarders!
