Wind has died down to a breeze and not much snow overnight. The clouds look like they have more to get rid of.

We had a high of about 50 yesterday, this morning it's 35, and tonight we are expecting Temps in the teens, so that cold front is heading our way bringing 40 mph winds with it.
Given that, I've got the wood bin under the front porch stacked with red oak, and a few slabs of Ash to keep the wood stove going.
I've over exterted myself for the past two weeks and my body needs a rest day, and this cold snap is a good excuse to take it easy.

32/75 w/ a very wet snow falling. Probably 1.5-2" already. Calling for 4-6". I had to bring in a couple wheel barrows of splits last evening.
I just put a big ol short round of chestnut oak on the box that should burn all day and then some.

Miserable cold with the wind here. I carried some ashes outside, walked to mailbox, then decided to light off the NC-30 to relax a bit!

  You're welcome :tip:. Cracked me up last night when I saw it! That room is gorgeous Dave!

No snow for a couple days but a not so common wind direction that has picked up and deposited tons of snow on the drifts from a couple months ago and they are as bad-probably worse than 2014/15.

You're in good shape; it could be worse. Here's what I have outside my basement door.

Crazy here, chunks of frozen/compacted snow flying around with dirt (and on my windows, I'm not going out in this so pic is through iced/mudded window. I'm not calling it the Blob snowdrift anymore, now calling it an iceberg. The top shell cracked like the chocolate syrup we put on ice cream cones that freezes instantly. Property is 1 acre, between this long iceberg and the other drifts atleast 1/4 acre has 8-15' tall drifts on it. (wood thing is 600lb gazebo that was picked up, flipped, and landed by the slider door.)

Aw shucks, the pics on this phone I'm using are "too large" to add. Sorry.
