M2theB has pulled the plug on jokes. Let 'em fly! This happened in our driveway. I had walked in the area twice. 3rd time wasn't the charm. Sharp pain in wrist and shoulder. Elbow avoided any damage. Went to an Urgent Care clinic. Xrays showed broken wrist. nothing broke in shoulder. A splint was put on. Went to hand surgeon Monday and the cast applied. i was told there wasn't much displacement. Shoulder pain could be rotator cuff. Just need to let it heal as is. I go back for a followup, next Wednesday. I'm guessing the cast will come off and more xrays will determine if surgery will be needed. I'll ask that the artwork be retained. A friend did that for me today. No wooding for me for a while. Good thing I'm lefthanded!! Showers are interesting. Can't get cast wet. Plastic bag wrapped and strapped is getting it done. Tylenol is helping. I'm glad nothing stronger is needed. Took 65 years to break any bone. Not even a bad sprain. Life happens!

Hey if you went 65 years without breaking anything then that's pretty good. All the parts on me that have been busted up and cobbed back together ; heck I can't count that high. Hope you heal up quick and no surgery is required.
I'm almost 68, and I don't want to jinx myself, so I'm not mentioning broken bones. Nope, not saying it. There goes your wrist shot. Heal fast!
