    Chupi is a Sphynx
She is supposed to be totally hairless.....but she has a light cover of very fine fuzz.

Very social little creatures love their "Hoooomans"
Very good breed for folks that have allergies.....Their levels of allergens are low....

If you like cuddle bugs...these cats are quite happy to share your bed with you...

Well the boss reached the runs stage of Chemo this morning. She has a triple negative breast cancer that has not spread. Yearly screening mammogram caught it.

Saw a NH Reddit post about heating oil around Laconia. $5.79/gal if paid for in 10 days, $5.99 if you don't. Seniors get a $.02/gal discount. Glad for those heating with oil it's warming up, maybe they can skate by.

Yeah I'm just gonna let it melt. Only got a couple inches here.

5" of the white stuff when I sno*w blowed last night. Ground is frozen so didn't expect it to melt today. And, if it did, all the stuff from the closest half of the driveway would run into the garage. Needed some exercise anyway.

Paid $5.50/gal for propane delivered Tuesday. 120 gallons to fill up. According to the state, the average price on Tuesday was $4.17/gal. But then again, that is for large users and it does not include delivery charges. At least that will be my only delivery this year.

OTOH, Pellet prices are going down. Since they only update those once per month, that may not have caught the sales going on at the BBS.

Finally did a re-scan of the cheap Amazon OTA antenna.....32 channels. Increase of 2 or 3, I think.

Edit: All gone off the drive by 11:00 AM. Woot! :D

Still waiting on my plow I ordered from John Deere. Looks like its still 4 weeks out! :sigh:

Just wrapped up a shell haul.
#5 in the books.....Did not have enough empty barrels to hold the full load.
Had to scrounge in the barn and scare up a couple empty ones to finish the load.

Will run the last two barrels through Munchy tomorrow to fill up the "Stove ready" supply in the basement.

The plant will be running into April the guys thought.....

I doubt we will do a 6th run this year.....

The storage area is chuck azz full.....We are at 60 barrels after today's run......

Day started off on a very poor note.

I grabbed the skid steer to load the dumpster.....Fastened the lift chains onto the bucket....hop in and go to raise the bucket.....NO JOY

After checking fuses (All good) it turned out the the micro switch on the "Lap safety bar" had died......

    The switch just worn out.

Wired a jumper to get buy for now.

Will get a new heavy duty micro switch and install it soon....

Machine is a 1996.....Guess we got all the goody out of that part.....

Other than that Fubar....a great day .......

Having owned the little skid steer since new.....quite well acquainted with it's innards.....

Was far better fixing it on a sunny day as opposed to a dark rainy night.....

And a good time was had by all.....

And both stoves are churning away......72F in the house....but I AM COLD after being outside since this morning.......

Gonna crank the heat up to 75-80 F in here.....Then crawl into the rack and snuggle with Chupi cat....

    :D:D:D:D:D

The road agent approved HD delivering pellets on my posted load limit road, so yesterday's delivery was a go. I took a PTO day (although I did attend an 8am meeting), so I could transfer the pellets from my driveway to the garage.

Started out with a text that they would deliver sometime between 6am and 8pm. Jeeze people, could you narrow it down to am or pm? So I waited, and waited, then I got a call at 11:40 that he would be here in about 20 minutes. At exactly 12:00 noon I took this picture.

    PELLET DELIVERY TRUCK.jpg

I told the driver just place them in the driveway and I would be transferring them one-by-one. He did me a solid by managing to push 3 pallets entirely into the garage and a 4th pallet half in and half out. He did try to push that load further in, but it wouldn't go. No biggie - he literally saved me tons of work. I had to make sure all were off the driveway as rain then snow are scheduled for today. At 12:25, all the pellets were on the ground. By 12:50, I had the first 1.5 tons loaded onto 1 pallet in the garage. Yeah, I had to use that two-step ladder for the top 3 rows.
PELLETS - 6 TONS ON GROUND 12-25 pm.jpg One and a half tons on pallet in garage 12-51 pm.jpg

I took a short break, then by 1:30, I had the other 1.5 tons moved. As an aside, these Northeast GS say they are a product of Canada, so aren't NEWPS from the Jaffrey plant or NY as the Northeast blend usually is.
three tons loaded on pallet in garage 1-30 pm.jpg Empty driveway -3 tons pellets moved.jpg

Early that morning I had seen an ad on FBM for 12 bags of Cubix for $50. I arranged to pick those up at 5pm. While I was there, they threw in 2 bags of TSCs (MWPs by the sku) for a total of 14 bags
12 bags cubix plus 2 bags tsc from FBM.jpg

After stacking the Cubix in the basement (on a dedicated skid for really good pellets), I decided to move a fourth ton to the side of the garage so I could stage the snow blower for today's storm (pic taken at 6:45 pm).
Fourth ton moved to beside wall 6-45 pm.jpg

All in all, I moved 4.8 tons because I transferred 6 broken bags into the basement, and moved other GS back out to the garage (to keep the garage level at an even 6 tons)

I'm sure I will feel it tomorrow, but this morning I am still good.

It will be interesting to see if the Canadian blend is any different than NH or NY blend…..

Gas seems to be $4.29/gal around here. Did see B&H Oil in Atkinson at $4.19, a few miles down Rt 111 in Windham the B&H there was $4.29.
Does make ya wonder how is it they're all charging the same? I guess every oil company has the exact same manufacturing and distribution costs .
