That's an interesting perspective. I've been checking the sunrise/sunset times just about weekly since the winter solstice. It's slow at first, but we're gaining light fast now.
I don't get too excited about the extra light until the weather is nice enough to actually enjoy being outside. If I could get rid of one month for it's weather. March would be it.
What?! You have a smoker season?! What would SKEETER McCLUSKEY think?!!! Just kidding- I have a smoker season too.
I welcome the extra daylight and extended sun shine. Gives me more time after work to get things done that have been on the back burner.
It has been really nice, having daylight as early as it has been. Unfortunately, daylight savings time will need it, and me up. It takes me like 3 to 4 weeks before I adjust completely in Spring.
I knew we make big gains but never would have thought it would be 100 minutes in a month. I wish we could just stay on summer time year around.
Not me, I prefer standard time. But then, this isn't the first time man has tried to change the world with what he thinks is a better way.
