If OSB wasn't $50 a sheet I'd of covered the walls. For now this will have to do. Nice spot for the Husky to sit. PXL_20220227_202106599.jpg PXL_20220227_202039843.jpg

The 562 looks pretty lonely in there. He needs some company.

Nice. I can't say anything about you needing more saws because I only have one. :) Are you planning on a bench and some kind of heat?

We are remodeling our kitchen and I thought about adding a layer of OSB to the subfloor to stiffen up the original plywood. Until I saw how much OSB is going for. I'll live with a little give to the floor LOL! Nice shed there, the saw looks happier already!

Holy crap! OSB is back to that again, huh?

I had a couple of projects last summer and got 7/16" for somewhere near 12.50 a sheet. I thought those high prices were over with. Dang!

Maybe there is a local mill where you can grab some low grade straight cut boards from? May be worth a shot.

Nice, but the saw looks lonely. Just wondering why insulate unless its heated and/or lived in?

Your not kidding about the OSB price. It was that high last Summer, retreated back to its normal price below $20 and bamm up again. Just quoted a job last week that calls for 21 sheets. Over $1000 just for sheathing...WTH!
One trick...look for damaged sheets (usually corner damage or from forklift) and they discount at least half price. Lowe's or the other box store.

    Great to have shelf space.
I spent last Friday doing the shelf thing in my garage too.
One side now has two shelves that are 16 feet long for each one and the other wall has two shelves that are 7 feet long over a bench.
The worst part was taking down old crappy plywood shelves that were cobbled together from leftovers and clearing stuff off the walls to make room for the new shelving.
    Well worth the time spent.
Best part is it was all free from my work , all the shelves and adjustable brackets were going to go in the dumpster.

The insulation was there from the previous owner. So wasn't going to waste it.

That's better. Still more shelves to go.
Nothing that a case of CAD won't take care of.

Good thing the Husky is on the bottom , if it was on top it would be leaking bar oil all over the Stihl.
Sure the Stihl gets the blankie but the Husky gets Depends.

It's ridiculous. OSB is literally scraps that they throw together to make sheeting.

I just bought 150 sheets of 7/16 OSB today. I payed 47 something, but told next time it would be 77 and some change. Before the stupidity that broke out in the spring of 2020, I payed on average 9 bucks. Even building a garage for someone costs thousands more than it should. craziness.

Jeff, You may have to make your own OSB with the Mrs.' bacon press.
