    Considering how much I LOVE my MS261 with a 16" bar on it for most of the cutting I do, I figured it was best to have a backup.
    I've been looking for months for an inexpensive used one, I finally found one. Its a M-tronic version, which I'm still undecided about.

    So I finally have two MS261's!!! :dex::saw:

    I recently bought an Mtronic 261c to replace my "carb" 261. (it was supposed to be Mtronic but wasnt, long story)

    Both saws pictured are 261's. Are you sure one is Mtronic? Should be 261c on the pull cover.

    Yes, the one in the front has the 4 position regular carburetor markings on the switch and the one in the back has the M-tronic 3 position switch.

    My first 261 is not Mtronic. one i just got is. First was supposed to be Mtronic, but dirt cheap so i kept it.
    Wanna buy the extra? FHC discount!

    EDIT: i was questioning his saws. Looks like both are carb model...261.

    Guys, there is nothing wrong the carbed 261's....they are very strong and good little saws. Just my opinion.
