No clue. Threw it in the garage for today. Might have to have someone repair it for me….she is in rough shape. Fuel tank area is pretty cracked, chain guard is cracked, handle is deformed. The core of the saw looks intact.

Wow big Dutchman and cut off holding wood. Could have been worse though. Maybe time for a cheaper saw for falling.

Man that's terrible. Glad you came out of it unscathed. That could have been bad!

Is the fuel tank itself cracked? Do you need to replace the entire tank housing/handle assembly?

This can't be right, can it??? On sawagain.com it's listed as out of stock but at a price of $184.

    OH NO! :bug: :headbang:

Thats enough to make a grown man cry and drop an F bomb or 100! Can any parts be salvaged? Did you have comprehensive/collision on it? Joking on the last...Ms. buZZsaws favorite line as she used to sell insurance. Hopefully it can be saved.

Had a similar mishap August 2020 with my 460. Felling dead maple spar maybe 20' tall, 20" stump from what i remember. Had several wedges in back cut and wouldnt fall. Proceeded to cut the front somehow. Saw bound up. Tree lets go to left side instead of forward, i take off backwards. Saw was bound on left. Tree landed on saw. It was in a real awkward spot on a bank with brush and leaves which helped the impact. I had to get in a three point stance to cut and exited from the same. Saw needed new handle and chain brake lever. While down and out i bought my 361 to fill its shoes.
Same thing...i cut too far and lost the hinge. Lesson learned.

Can't like that. Glad it was only the saw and not you.
