So my 2 new acquisitions showed up and are in my possession as of Sat. Took them to the range after work today. G 19 shot really well. 6 o'clock hold was on the money at 27 yards with CCI Blazer. No problems there. So I walk to the rifle side next, pick a bench on the end.... Talk to a nice couple visiting from out of state, chat with their friends (group of 4) and check out stuff down the row. Couple of AR's, handguns, an old bolt rifle. Pretty standard. Then the line goes hot. I pull out the "impractical" thing- Yugo PAP M92- google it. After the first 10 rounds out, half the line has stood back just watching. The group of 4 are sitting in lawn chairs just watching. I finish the mag. and lock in #2. 3 FTE's from that mag. but nothing serious, it's new and I was limp-wristing a bit. And then the commentary from the gallery. "Is that for Elk?"- No. "What is that??"- Here, check it out. "Get that away from my husband! He'll want one now." Sorry for your luck. " Did you see the size of the fireball when you shot!??!" Pretty tough to miss it. This thing is fun. It's very loud with a deep tone through headphones. It let's out a 3' fireball. It is not an everyday pistol. And it weighs #7-5/8 Lbs. loaded. Get one before you can't anymore.
I was at the range tonight too. I have to say my sig 2340 is boring as hell compared to the cannon you had. What cal were you shooting? What grain was the round itself?
338 lapua will do that too. We had the cops called on us out in the county shooting it. People 500 yards to the right of where we were shooting from called in that we were shooting their direction.
From what I was told, they're not expecting any new shipments until the first of the year, and that's iffy.
LOL kills me how people call the cops. We shoot .50 bmg at my bro's house and everything below. He has neighbors across the street and up both side of the road from him. No problems. Clays shotguns and 30.06 down at my place for 2 days of shooting no problems. Bro with flash from just a .308 saiga
