13° F this morning with the stove packed with red and sugar maple. I wasn't sure what pile(s) I wanted to start drawing from next to finish out the season. After grabbing a few random maple splits the other week, that kind of sealed the deal. The hickory and elm can go another year
15F... back into some silver maple for a bit, with a few old hedge sticks holding back against the cold. Should be a decent warm up this week.
Thank you. It is intermittent now and was real bad a few years back. I was scheduled for injections and then asked.....what about therapy? A moment of silence in the exam room and the reply was No one has tried therapy on it yet? It worked. I've got a couple exercises to try on it once again.
25 and a slight breeze. A low of 21 overnight. Mix of Maple and Beech loaded in the Wood Gun. Should last a long time at these temperatures.
Got up to 35F today. 21 now. This morning the fire was out and 59F inside. A stove of oak and hickory brought the whole house up to70F. One load was enough for the whole day. View of the last of the coals before we let the fire go out around 10am. House stayed 70F till 8pm. Letting the house cool down a bit before I start the fire back up.
Was 25 or so thus morning. Got close to 50. Been burning black cherry most of day. Have a real nice coal bed for the over night burn of oak.
