I spent a couple hours this afternoon clearing trees along the side of the dirt road I live on to get more sunlight to help dry it out. And got about all the rounds my wimpy trailer wants to carry.[IMG]

Got some good wood, and cleaned the forest floor of some branches. Good work.

    Nice little haul there!

Some of our equipment may not be pretty, but works hard, thats all that matters.

Worry not about the wimpy trailer. Did you really need 2 saws for the job?

Easy and close to home are the 2 best kinds of wood.

Great work. Whenever I only bring 1 saw I'll need 2.

Sometimes/often I'll take a second saw in case something happens to the first/main saw. But I always have a second bar and chain (usually multiple chains) in case the first gets buggered or more importantly, stuck.

Still going. Taking it easy on her. Use it as a backup when we have a vehicle down. Hauls the firewood from the pole barn to the garage before heading to the basement to burn. Sometimes pulls the wood splitter. Use it for trips to the home improvement store. That’s about it these days. I can feel the clutch starting to slip a little, so I’m taking it easy on her these days. From one truck abuser to another, thanks for remembering little green:yes: Little green in the background last winter! B37C6470-625D-4035-A121-6375DB7EA3BD.jpeg

Seems they are fewer and farther between! What do you have in mind, and what’s on the wishlist?

I guess I live on the edge, I only own one chain saw, a Stihl 025 that's about 30 years old. At the risk of jinxing myself, it's been so reliable I haven't given any thought to having a backup.

Nothing wrong with that and speaks volumes for Stihl. I was a one saw guy for many years.

Hard to beat a used truck that you know the history on! What’s making you think you’d like a new truck?
