I wouldn't have had a clue they were there. Even with you stating they were in the picture, it took me a bit to find them.

Sleeping like little babies. My friend was here and I told him where they were. He could not see them! I gave him the binoculars and he still never saw them. Amazing. The only thing I could figure was he was looking for standing deer, but I told him they were laying down...

I'm going to move some snow this morning.

Take it easy with that snow moving. You know, if you leave it, it will melt! No effort at all. Those trees with the deer should look huge. Are they hard or soft wood? Our white pine gets really big. So do the oak, but not when the grow so close together like those in your picture.

I don't shovel. I let the machines do the work. Like Judy said, I got the machines to help so I use them. Also, if the snow is left and then should get a good thaw, then another freeze i could end up with another ice rink. No, I'll shove it off the driveway.

Those trees are scotch and white pines. I think there were a couple soft maple got onto the picture along with witch hazel. And yes, oak and white pines can get pretty big. During last year's GTG we took down an oak that was 69" across the stump.

Years ago, I got some shovels that I use for pushing snow....and then a little shoveling at the end of the push.

But not cleaning up after a snowfall is a big taboo with me. Sure, you can get away with it not shoveling, but the snow only packs down and then you have a larger mess driving in and out of the garage or walking the path/steps. Any warm weather would lead to melting and then ice....no thanks!

The precipitation was all sleet and slush. About 2-3’ of it. Too heavy to shovel so our son struggled with the snowblower. Going to 39º before dropping to 14º overnight.

:bug: That has to be a record

I sure hope that is a typo and is actually supposed to be inches - even that is no fun. We've had enough of that cr*p this winter. I was happy my area got all snow. Did get some grauple we received for a little while. Must have gotten some really arm air in the upper atmosphere since it was only 22* outside at the time. Didn't last too long before it turned back into snow.

All of our snow was light, white, fluffy snow. Got lucky. About 6-7” roughly.

Caffeine! I didn’t feel like getting up this morning. But, it’s almost time to go to the workhouse. You hoarders have some fun today and stay safe.

It only took me a short time to shove snow around as we only got a couple inches.

No fresh snow for a couple of days now....that's nice!

The water dispenser on the refrigerator door stopped dispensing last evening. Last time, it was the little strip of heat tape that had become loose so I only had to re-apply it. It looked good this time, but I re-seated it a bit just in case. Nope, something else this time.

Maybe time to change the water filter in it.

    Good morning all.
Got about 8” here in Southern Vermont. Tractor made short work of it with the snow blower used on the sidewalk.
Worked on the lift for the splitter in the shop between plowing sessions. That Woodchuck air furnace makes it nice out there. 10 degrees outside and it tried to get to 90 in there a couple of times!
Currently sitting out in the kitchen because the Lopi in the living room had a good bed of coals and I threw a couple of pieces of red oak in it and it ran both of us out of the living room. Well Seasoned wood is nice!

I’ve got my shoveling done and her highnesses car cleaned off for her to go to work.
Today I should go out to the fruit trees and get them pruned before the warm weather comes in. We’ll see… currently 6 degrees.

    To all. A good day.
    Lenny

Looks like its the solenoid that controls the flow to the water dispenser and ice maker that is bad. Replacement is ordered.

Last time, the heat tape had come loose from the water line and it froze up. Pulled the lines and free and clear of obstruction.

Ohm meter across both solenoid terminals read open.
