Title says it all. Some of you may have seen this pic on the other forums already. Figure I'll post it here also. Sure looked like a nice log to finish breaking in the 2095 but now I'm not sure.
This is a sycamore. Scaly bark when it gets bigger. Tree was well over three foot diameter. I wont touch it for firewood as its miserable to split even with hydro.
They where planted around the mansions in the early 1900s. That is the back lot to the mansion across from Royal Farms by the square.
They tell me that in most cases a beech like that definitely is a son of a beech. Maybe they don't have daughters?
Is is hollow at all James Miller ? Almost all Beech trees I've seen that were that big (or even close) are hollow, at least to some extent.
So whats the scoop JM? Are you cutting that up? Its not oak so no reason to invite The Wood Wolverine to help!
Lol! Now that James has his own big cc saw, I probably won’t get the call as much. No tree will be too big with the hoss he has.
