I've been taking D for the last couple of winters and don't bother in the summer because I'm outside a lot with minimal clothes when it's warm enough. I also have the other three you mentioned and will pound on them when the occasion arises.
Don't think so. Just got over covid 3 weeks ago. Whatever I have now is 3 times as bad. I was able to function with covid. This one has me holding the couch down real good.
Day 5 of this crap. Finally went to get checked today. Got the covid and influenza A. Still feeling dead. Severe body aches, headache, congestion, coughing, and have to be very careful when I cough, if you know what I mean. Maybe by Saturday I can get some things done.
Don't rush it too much. Reduced lung capacity can getcha down real quick. Slow and steady wins the race.
I usually take it slow and steady... Lol. It takes me 3 days worth of splitting and stacking to complete a cord, at about 2 or 3 hours a day. It just gets old not having the energy to do anything. Just going to the grocery store and cooking a simple dinner got me whooped. And our weather is nice this week, except for rain today.
We understand wanting to get to doing stuff. But this covid takes longer to get over for most people, whether we like it or not. Push too much too soon and it will just get you down worse and take longer to recover. Hope you feel better soon....
I agree with the folks saying take your time. I had the headache and probably the fever for a 2 or 3 days before it really hit me. Woke up to go to work and temp was 102.7 and felt like my head was gona explode. Another 3 or 4 days before I felt improvement. Then 3 days later I lost my sense of smell and didnt return for about 2 weeks. Having the flu on top of what I had sounds awful. I'm 37 and have seen folks at work that came back to soon end up with pneumonia on top of covid and be out for another month. Take your time, only you know when your good to go back to full activities.
I finally got back to work today, I usually don't like listening to doctors, and didn't want to miss that much time, and burn all my sick days, but that was a week of hell. The sickest I have been in probably 15 years. Never had to take that much time off work for myself being sick. Saturday I started to feel better, was able to fill the indoor wood bin back up, she was low, about a half cord went in, and finish a batch of beef jerky I started last Saturday. Sunday I thought I over did it, and was tired and sore. Monday daytime up until I got to work, I felt iffy. Headache and really tired to the point of making me feel woozy. I wonder if it is just lingering effects, or I am detoxing from all the cold and pain medicine I took in the past week. I feel ok at work now, hopefully I can get caught up with stuff during the week.
Glad you're progressing Piney. Yeah, the whole thinking you over did it, and things hitting you different....that lasted at least a good month for me, and then lessened but was still around for another month or so. Luckily people on here and locally told me they had had similar issues and that it took more time to get feeling closer to normal. The strung out part of covid can wear on your mind....
