I'd say it's good, I found this question/answer on the USGS web site. It gets confusing when they change the names, the question is about the Golden Access Passport, but in the answer they call it the Golden Age Passport. And this is from the United States Geologic Site, seems like it would be the National Park Service site.

Are Golden Access Passports still valid?
Golden Age Passports are valid for a lifetime however, if they physically wear out you will need to obtain a replacement Access Pass with proper identification.

Also, I wanted a new card a couple years ago, we were at the Fort Pickens Florida visitor center, and I asked the guy about getting a new one with the deer on it. He told me you have to have the original card to get a replacement, even if it was just a corner of the card. Otherwise you have to buy a new one, and nowadays at $80 a card, you better hang onto it. He "accidentally" broke my card in half and issued me a new one.

stihl kicking How do the park passes work for non-Americans? Would we just pay every time we entered a park?

Edit: Never mind. I clicked on your link for information and realized we don't qualify for the Senior's pass.

Your best bet is to find a US citizen with a pass, then hand your us citizen to the gate attendant, they will stamp him or her on the forehead and hand your citizen back.

Family and I did a 4000+ mile road trip from SE Tennessee to Glacier National Park last year. Stopped at 5 national parks on the way. Yellowstone was the worst as far a crowds. but it was manageable. Kids in the 4th grade get a free Nat. Parks pass, my son is in 4th grade. He likes to joke that he paid for us to go to all the national parks. Doubt this summers trip will be as extensive. Might do a late July canoe trip in the Boundary Waters this year, a first for me.

Glacier is on my to see list, one of these years. Yellowstone is a truly unique and fascinating place, everyone should see it at least once. The most crowded park I've been to is Zion, had to take the shuttle into the park and it was shoulder to shoulder, a beautiful place, but I would never do that again. I really wanted to hike Angels Landing, but had to bail because of the crowds. We love road trips.

Pictured Rocks for this summer, and I am sure there will be a trip or 2 to Sleeping bear as its only 45 minutes away.

Will need to look into the pass as we try to take the kids more places

Before you go to a national park make sure you listen to "Missing 411". Former detective looking into this and it is very interesting.
